Rooms are in soft pastel pinks and mauves against tasteful printed wallpaper and dark woodwork. The hotel's main restaurant, Metropol, is steeped in history. The elegant monumental hall of the restaurant with a large glass dome, marble fountain, splendid standard lights and murals all combine to create a feeling of splendour. The hotel is an art-deco style building and is decorated with ornate mosaic motifs. Guests are welcomed into a spacious lobby area. This is an excellent historical hotel in a central location. Accommodation for children and extra person can only be provided in Superior Rooms.
